From action figures to cartoons and films, G.I. Joe has been a force since the 1960s.
You can add sneakers to the list as Nike created some thematic packs in 2007 and 2009.

Now, Southern California based BAIT is adding to the lineup of G.I. Joe inspired sneakers through a collaboration with New Balance. Taking inspiration from the Roadblock character, BAIT has styled the H710 with a desert camo influenced style.

On the Cobra side of the collection, BAIT has produced an edition of the New Balance 574. Taking style cues from Cobra Commander, the kicks are working with a navy, red and silver color palette. Playing on the cobra theme, the kicks feature snakeskin layers from the metallic silver midsole to the laser etched print leather upper. Offering balance to the design, solid navy premium pigskin suede is placed on the toebox, tongue and collar. Adding to the premium build, leather lines the interior.

Detailing on the drop includes a metallic silver traced “N”, “Cobra 574″ on the tongue and the Cobra logo on the heel. BAIT then name checks the shoe’s silver insole.

The kicks are BAIT exclusive and will release in-shop and online on the 20th of Junefor $140 through a raffle process.
