Following the Superbowl, Crooked I performed at Nectar Lounge in Seattle. One of the highlights was debuting “Apex Predator,” the title track from his upcoming EP set to be released in March. He explains the concept of the EP as “we hunt for opportunities, we killing the competition and my whole family eating.” The beat is absolutely ridiculous, and the lyrics are your typical stand tall lyricism that you expect out of the Long Beach native.
