Virgil Abloh, trained as an architect before becoming Kanye West’s creative director, launches OFF-WHITE clothing line. Taking off from his first venture, PYREX VISION, OFF-WHITE is a bridge between streetwear and fashion. The collection is largely based on the use of Virgil Abloh’s graphics, including a motif of parallel lines, crossing over a ‘WHITE 13’ logo. The inspiration for the Spring/Summer 2014 collection comes from the geometric lines of the Farnsworth House by Mies van der Rohe, near Chicago.
