Affiliated with Detroit based sneaker shop Burn Rubber, the Distinct Life apparel label had an impressive run last year through a collaborative project with Reebok on the GL6000.

The Reebok x Distinct Life connection is being renewed at the moment with a new edition of the GL6000. This time, the mid cut edition of the sneaker is being put to work for the collaboration.

The theme is photo base with a ripstop nylon and nubuck upper in black with red detailing. The kicks are said to be inspired by a popular DSLR camera and the color combo suggests Nikon. However, the upper also includes green and blue accents

Adding to the photography theme, a Detroit landscape print is placed on the translucent outsole and insole.

If you are fan of the Pump, and specifically the Omni Zone, then the later half of the year is going to be an exciting time. Reebok is going to be dropping six colorways of the Pump Omni Zone between July and November. Two of the colorways are some serious classics featuring mainly white uppers. One has minimal light grey accents while the other has purple and black accents. Both feature the classic orange pump on the tongue to top it all off. The other four are part of a “Respect pack” paying homage to some of Reebok’s classic colors from various models of the past. There will be a mainly black colorway with solar yellow and red accents, a Knicks inspired colorway with a mainly royal upper with orange and grey accents, a steel version with orange and black accents, and finally a mainly white pair with teal and solar yellow hits.
