Sandy Alderson has made the biggest signing since becoming a member of the New York Mets organization. The Mets signed Curtis Granderson to a four year deal that is worth $ 60 million dollars.

In the 2011-2012 season, Granderson hit 84 home runs. However, last year he was out for majority of the season due to pinkie and forearm fractures. His batting average was at .229 and only hit 7 homeruns.

Hopefully this is not another deal for the Mets that goes wrong for the organization. The other free signing agent Chris Young will be another great addition out in the outfield with Granderson.
